Description
So, I just started with picture of my friend's nephew yesterday, and I think that's the fastest time I've ever gotten that far in a drawing.
I don't think it looks too bad.
I also decided to use the grid technique for this, which I've never really used before (if you look closely, you can see the grid paper I placed behind the page -- self made using Excel). I basically only used it for the outlining, getting everything in the right place and proportion, and the shading I'm doing freehand.
I've never done baby pictures/portraits before, so it's interesting to see how different the proportions are on a younger child's face.

P.s. When I added the original picture to the bottom, I realized that the mouth is a little off. I'll fix that soon.
